Crushers
Belting and Structure Double Roll Crusher is ideal for primary and secondary crushing of materials that are soft to medium-hard, wet and sticky. Our Double Roll Crusher feature slower roll speeds and a larger surface area to add prolonged life to the crushing elements. The Double Roll Crusher typically follow a primary or secondary crusher and are used for secondary and tertiary reduction of various minerals below middle hardness. They are one of the most widely used crushers in the mining industry and have numerous advantages, such as high capacity, low headroom, low horsepower, the ability to handle wet, sticky feeds and the ability to produce a cubical product with minimum fines generation. It has a compact design that lessens the installation space inside the crushing building. It is also capable of compensating for peaks with energy storage in the flywheels. Drive options are v-belt drive and direct drive. The two sets of individually driven roller shafts are used to crush the material by the crushing force and the shearing force generated by the relative rotation. After the material enters into the crushing chamber, it is subjected to the force of the rotating roller shaft and forced to pass between the two rollers. At the same time, the material starts to be broken by the crushing and shearing of the roller shaft. The broken small particles move along tangent of the rotation roller and been thrown under the machine through the gap between the two rollers.[/vc_wp_text]
